Business ownership offers all the advantages you might hear about. However, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Starting a business is incredibly challenging.

For female founders, it can be even more challenging because women still do not have equal opportunities, which reflects in the barriers they face. In Business Age, our Founder, MD and Creative Director, Amy Ramage, explores the funding deficit, the lack of role models in senior positions, and bias. 

Women need to believe they can succeed. And they can - research shows that investment in female-founded start-ups performs 63% better than exclusively male-founded ones. To flip the script, we must challenge biases (including our own).
